The WATTSTUNDE® SPS modules are significantly smaller and lighter than conventional 190-watt modules and, thanks to back-contact technology, offer a high efficiency of over 24%. The WATTSTUNDE® SP solar modules are equipped with back-contact Sunpower cells, which have a significantly higher cell efficiency than normal monocrystalline or polycrystalline solar modules, thus ensuring a higher energy yield and saving volume and weight!

The modules are enclosed in a sturdy hollow chamber profile frame and promise maximum stability, even under extreme conditions.
Thanks to their anti-reflective glass, the modules allow significantly more light to pass through, thus ensuring higher transmission than other modules. The efficiency of the monocrystalline SunPower solar modules is 24%. The modules are factory-equipped with a cable connection and MC4 connectors to simplify the wiring of multiple modules.

Back-contact technology allows the cell to absorb more light and convert the additional absorption into electrical energy.

In standard polycrystalline or monocrystalline modules, the usually silver contacts (cell connectors) are clearly visible on the cell surface. These contacts are absent in back-contact modules, thus preventing shadowing of the cell and thus contributing to higher efficiency.
Thanks to the integrated bypass diodes in the junction box, the module can continue to produce power even in shading or low light conditions.
