The Premium EFX solar modules were developed specifically for use in the marine sector. However, the modules are also increasingly finding numerous applications outside of the marine sector. The solar modules are frequently installed and used in self-sufficient battery applications such as in mobile homes, garden sheds, camping, island systems, and all off-grid systems.

Novel ActiveWire solar cells

The new ActiveWire technology shortens the distances between the solar cell conductors, thus minimizing electrical losses and increasing current flow. If a cell breaks, the effect remains localized. This innovative conductor mesh with 19 busbars (conventional mono modules have just 5 busbars) guarantees high module reliability. The thinner wires also capture more light than with conventional surface contacts, minimizing partial shading. This design maximizes energy yield—even in low and diffuse light conditions.

The integrated aluminum plate ensures the module's high stability, meeting the extreme demands of marine and outdoor applications. The modules can be optimally used on uneven surfaces and rounded surfaces of a boat or motorhome. When mounted on solid ground, the EFX solar modules are also walkable. Weight savings of up to 80% are possible compared to framed solar modules. The connection cables are deliberately designed without MC4 connectors.
You have the choice: the loose cable ends can be wired either below deck or directly on the roof. We recommend using our practical wiring box.
The highlight: The cable entry can be made directly through the carrier plate. A corresponding cable entry is already prepared at the factory. This guarantees maximum flexibility in wiring!

In addition to a battery, you also need a charge controller to prevent the current supply and thus overcharging or potentially deep discharging the battery. This controller also ensures an optimal charging voltage and provides the necessary reverse current protection at night.
