WATTSTUNDE® Solar case WS120SUL ULTRALIGHT 120W
Ultra light, ultra compact, ultra good - The new solar cases Ultralight from WATTSTUNDE combine the robustness of solar cases with the lightness of solar bags
Perfect for shaded parkers and anyone who values flexibility. Freely adjustable orientation allows for tracking the sun to generate optimal yields at all times. Positioned at a 45° angle with sturdy metal feet, the system can capture the last rays of sunlight even in spring and fall, when conventional solar solutions produce only low levels of energy due to the low sun's position.
Special features at a glance:
- 120 watt monocrystalline solar module
- High efficiency of 18%
- Without charge controller
- 5 meter connection cable
- Robust ETFE coating of the modules
- Anderson clamp for easy connection Plug & Play
- Battery connection cable with fuse included
- Color: black

Stable, yet lightweight
The WATTSTUNDE® ULTRALIGHT solar cases are the logical evolution of existing portable solar solutions. Their robust construction allows them to be used even under adverse conditions – the sophisticated lightweight design ensures stability with a surprisingly low weight. The possible applications are diverse: In addition to traditional applications such as camping and leisure activities, the ULTRALIGHT solar case is also suitable for demanding applications. Expeditions and maritime applications are easily possible thanks to its robust design. Campervans, panel vans (including off-road vehicles like the Land Rover Defender), and many other off-grid systems are supplied with energy more easily than ever before. The solar cases set a new standard for portable and flexible solar solutions.
Plug & Play with professional plug-in system
The WATTSTUNDE® ULTRALIGHT cases feature a 5m long, twin-core connection cable with a small Anderson plug at the end. This allows for quick, polarity-protected connection of the case within a minute. It's as easy as pie. The charge controller is connected once using the included battery connection cable (1.5m long, with integrated fuse), so no additional components are required.
The high energy yield of monocrystalline solar panels can be slightly increased with the solar case, as the modules can be freely aligned. The motorhome or car can be parked in the shade and the photovoltaic cells placed in direct sunlight. Throughout the day, the solar case can always be optimally aligned with the sun.
Further information
Cars, with their small roof areas, usually don't have enough space for conventional solar panels, but a solar case can be easily transported. This allows even a small car to be self-sufficient in terms of energy. Connection cables are integrated into the case, thus guaranteeing maximum flexibility. The only thing you'll need is a 12V solar battery to store the generated power and be able to access it again at a later time. We have selected a high-quality, suitable deep-cycle batteries for you, which you can find in the Batteries category.
Please note that the WS120SUL ULTRA LIGHT does not include a charge controller . This is because in most cases, charge controllers are already installed or customers prefer to choose their own.
For example, we recommend the following regulators that fit the bag:
WATTSTUNDE® TARA Flow 75V 20A MPPT Solar Charge Controller
Votronic MPP 170 CI
Victron MPPT SmartSolar 75/10
