The WATTSTUNDE® PEKO10 charge controller automatically detects the system voltage and charges your battery at an optimal charging curve based on your battery voltage and type at any time. Additionally, the integrated USB port provides direct charging, allowing you to charge your devices such as cell phones or tablets directly from the charge controller.

In contrast to simple shunt charge controllers that only fully charge, the PEKO charge controller with PWM technology charges your battery gently by continuously adjusting the current battery voltage using pulse width modulation (PWM).

Optimal protection against overcharging and deep discharge - solar module output up to 170Wp (12V) can be connected!

With the PEKO charge controller, you can expect high reliability, state-of-the-art technology and ease of installation at an optimal price-performance ratio.

An optional load output can be used to connect 12V devices. In addition, the charge controller's integrated deep discharge protection (LVD) automatically protects your battery from deep discharge caused by the devices.

Only when the voltage reaches a certain level again are the loads automatically reconnected (LVR). This way, you can always be sure that your battery won't be deeply discharged.

If the night light function is set, the loads are automatically switched on only from dusk until sunrise. During the day, the loads/loads remain off. The charge controller measures the incoming module voltage and thus detects the daytime status. When the module voltage drops (5-10V), the charge controller detects dusk and switches to the night light function, and the loads/loads are switched on.

If the solar module open circuit voltage reaches a value >15V, the charge controller detects daylight and switches off the loads/consumers.
As an example, it could be used to power a night light; the lamp turns on at dusk and turns off again at dawn.
