Advanced Maximum Power Point detection in case of partial shading. In the case of partial shading, two or more maximum power points (MPP) can exist on the current-voltage curve. Conventional MPPTs tend to lock onto a local MPP. However, this may not be the optimal MPP. The innovative algorithm of the SmartSolar device will always maximize energy yield by locking onto the optimal MPP.

Intelligent Battery Management with the BatteryLife Algorithm
The BatteryLife algorithm monitors the battery's state of charge and slightly increases the load disconnect threshold daily until the constant voltage is reached. From this point, the load disconnect threshold is modulated so that the constant voltage is reached approximately once a week.
The BatteryLife algorithm will increase the battery's operational lifespan compared to conventional battery algorithms that always cycle between partially charged and fully charged (due to low self-discharge)
