The MPPT solar charge controller from WATTSTUNDE® is the central element of any solar system, connecting PV modules, consumers, and the solar battery. With innovative MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) technology, the variable voltage of the solar modules is converted into a constant voltage to efficiently and gently charge your battery. Even in less optimal light conditions, energy generation remains efficient.

The WLR-BT 60.140 from the MPPT series features a new LCD display that clearly presents a variety of information and readings. Get precise data on battery charge status or load current to always have a comprehensive overview of your solar system. This allows you to check your system at any time and make adjustments as needed.

Real-time display of energy flows and a statistics function for viewing total solar yields make the charge controller particularly user-friendly.

The charge controller charges all common battery types (lead-acid, AGM, gel, lithium) quickly and gently. The integrated undervoltage protection prevents dangerous deep discharges of the battery, while the intelligent load cut-off disconnects connected consumers when the battery's charge level is critical.

Maximize your solar yields with the smart MPPT technology of the WLR 60.140 from WATTSTUNDE®. This technology optimizes the operating point of the solar modules several times per second and efficiently converts voltage surpluses into increased charging current. This leads to shorter charging times and maximum power output – with up to 30% more yield compared to conventional PWM charge controllers.

Even in unfavorable light conditions, such as overcast skies or diffuse light, the MPPT charge controller achieves significant energy yields. Automatic detection of the system voltage (12 or 24 V) and an external temperature sensor that adapts the charging voltage to the ambient temperature ensure optimized charging performance. Overload and overcharge protection, as well as reverse current protection for the solar modules, provide additional safety for your system.
