WATTSTUNDE® Lithium 12V 200Ah LiFePO4 battery LIX12-200-BS
LiFePo4 200Ah battery from Wattstunde - LIX12-200-BS
Discover our LIX “Basic” BS series
The LIX 200 BS delivers a nearly constant 12 V voltage with the LiFePO4 200Ah battery, so that your devices can be operated reliably. 12-volt batteries are used in most vehicles because the electrical components such as the starter, lighting and ignition are designed to operate with 12 volts. With a weight of 23.6 kg, it is comparatively light and yet offers sufficient energy reserves.
Safe and effective - LiFePO4 is the pioneer among battery types
Our LIX BS batteries are equipped with innovative LiFePO4 batteries. This is currently the safest lithium technology in the field of energy storage for vehicles. The batteries are maintenance-free and there is no risk of explosion or fire. Since they are sealed batteries that do not emit gas, they can also be installed in difficult spaces. The fact that they can be installed in any position ensures the greatest possible flexibility. Self-discharge is extremely low at < 1.5% per month.
The following characterizes lithium batteries:
- high current, low self-discharge - the capacity loss of the batteries is only 1–2% per month
- no memory effect, which means that the battery capacity remains relatively constant
- higher number of charging cycles and therefore longer service life
- Deep discharge is usually survived undamaged
- quickly charged
- safe and environmentally friendly - recycling lithium batteries is relatively easy and inexpensive
- thermally stable
Integrated Battery Management System (BMS)
The integrated BMS protects your battery from damage because it automatically detects possible undervoltage, overload or charging at too high or too low ambient temperatures. The BMS also ensures that the individual cells are charged and discharged evenly. It therefore contributes significantly to a longer battery life and also enables 12 V DC applications directly on the battery. You no longer need to worry about storage failures due to environmental influences because these risks are prevented in advance by the BMS.
Flexible expandability of performance
Do you need more power? No problem! To increase capacity, identical batteries can be connected in parallel. If you connect our 12-volt batteries in series, you can set up a 24 V or even 48 V system. The advantage: Even at high power, comparatively low currents flow and smaller cable cross-sections can be used. It is important to note that a maximum of four batteries can be connected together and the voltage difference must not be greater than 0.1 V.
Versatile areas of application
Whether stationary or mobile, our batteries are ideal for both applications. Do you have an AGM, lead acid or gel battery? The dimensions of our LiFePO4 LIX 12 series are very similar to the most common batteries and replacing them is usually very straightforward in terms of space. The LIX 100-D LT with DIN dimensions in particular allows for a wide range of possible uses. Existing charge controllers and chargers can usually continue to be used.
No more unnecessary waiting when charging the battery
The LiFePO4 battery in our LIX batteries charges up to 10 times faster than conventional lead batteries. To ensure the fastest and safest charging, we recommend using a charger with an optimized lithium characteristic curve. However, a lead-acid characteristic curve would not be a problem either, as the BMS of the LiFePO4 battery uses intelligent algorithms to control the charging process so that the cells can also be charged with this characteristic curve. Due to the lack of a memory effect in the battery and in order to increase the service life of the battery, we do not recommend charging the battery to a charge level of 100%.
A notice:
The LIX “Basic” BS series does not have a Bluetooth interface! We recommend installing a battery computer on the BS series. This allows the charge level of the battery to be monitored to prevent excessive discharge.
