The new WATTSTUNDE® SolarBuddy combines the lightness of solar bags with the robustness of solar cases, providing you with flexible power – exactly where you need it.

The portable solar module:

A solar bag is a foldable solar module. It consists of one or more solar panels integrated into a fabric bag. The advantage over a built-in solar system is obvious ->
The solar bag can be flexibly set up in the sun when needed and does not have to be permanently mounted on the vehicle.
The days when your motorhome or car had to be parked awkwardly in the sun are over. You can relax and park in the shade and still soak up the sun. Whether in the garden, camping, or on a boat - wherever there is no power outlet, there will always be electricity from now on!

Even without a charge controller – always ready for use:

Of course, the SolarBuddy is strongest in combination with a charge controller and a battery to store the generated energy.
Since batteries and charge controllers are not always available during leisure activities, we have equipped our Solar Buddy with 2 USB ports for direct charging options. The two connections are located in the handle and offer you direct connection options for your USB devices even without a charge controller and battery.

Robust and flexible:

The WATTSTUNDE® SolarBuddy Hardcover Solar Bag is both robust and space-saving, offering you a high degree of flexibility. The solar bag scores with the possibility of being freely adjustable at any time. Whether behind the windshield when parked or outdoors, the foldable feet always help you find your optimal position.
The robust polyamide fabric makes the SolarBuddy your perfect companion for outdoor use - nevertheless, as with any technical device, care should be taken to ensure that no moisture or water gets into sensitive areas, such as under the cover of the USB ports. We recommend not leaving the SolarBuddy outside overnight. (This is an electrical device for using solar energy - meaning it is not resistant to mist and rain.)

To increase flexibility, we have designed the SolarBuddy to be extra light. This makes it easy to set up and carry. Nevertheless, we have not sacrificed power.
Our SolarBuddy has a high efficiency of 18%. This allows you to charge your devices even in poorer light conditions. The monocrystalline solar modules are not only powerful, but they also increase the lifespan. So you will enjoy your mobile WATTSTUNDE® SolarBuddy for a long time.

Align yourself with the sun:

The free adjustability of the SolarBuddy allows for tracking the sun to generate optimal yields at all times. When set up at a 45° angle, even the last rays of sun can be captured in spring and autumn, when conventional solar solutions only produce low currents due to low sun angles. Especially cars, with their small roof areas, usually do not offer enough space for conventional solar modules; in this case, a SolarBuddy is a real alternative to a solar bag.
Perfect for shade parkers and anyone who values flexibility.

Please note that no charge controller is included in the scope of delivery of the SolarBuddy WS100SB. The reason for this is that in most cases, charge controllers are already available or customers want to choose a specific charge controller.
