Tank sensor for plastic or metal tanks (according to drinking water regulations DIN 2001-2)

The tank sensors measure the filling level in the tank and transmit the measured value to the display unit with only 2 lines. They are supplied with 12 V or 24 V from the display unit and are powerless in idle mode. The encapsulated electronics (IP 67) are also suitable for the harsh operation on underground tanks and are frost-proof. All VOTRONIC tank sensors work independently of pressure, ie there is no falsification of the measured value in the event of overpressure in the tank, pressure refueling or similar. The standard protection against reverse polarity, overvoltage, short circuit and overload is also included.

These tank sensors were specially designed for level measurement of water and water-containing media (fresh water, waste water, grey and service water, fecal matter) in metal or plastic tanks and are therefore universally applicable. The measuring electrode can be easily shortened to the height of the tank and the precise "full" adjustment is carried out using an adjuster on the device, with the 15-50 K tank electrode also using a "dry" scale. The 15-50K tank electrode can be installed from the inside or outside on the top of the tank. In contrast to waste water and fecal matter tanks (sludge formation), fresh water tanks can also be installed on the bottom of the tank.
