VOTRONIC Switch Units operate on the basis of a bistable power relay. Their self-consumption is extremely low. They are particularly suitable as remote-controlled main switches or as load relays that are to remain switched on for a long time. The current carrying capacity is 40 or 100 A.

The Switch Units can be remotely controlled by a simple switch (1-pole ON / OFF).

In addition, the consumers can also be manually switched on or off at the relay via an EMERGENCY function (EMERGENCY switch).

The area of application extends from motorhomes, boats to emergency vehicles:

  • Simple control via a simple ON / OFF switch
  • High switching currents, temporarily highly overloadable
  • Can be used as a battery main switch via a simple ON / OFF switch (remote controllable)
  • Externally visible switching status display
  • Electronic delay prevents too rapid reaction, e.g. voltage drops, switching on powerful consumers
  • Suitable for continuous operation (very low self-consumption / compliant with EN13976).
  • No self-power consumption when switched off via an external switch (remote control)
  • Automatic shutdown at undervoltage 8.5 V (minimum operating voltage of the Switch Unit)
