The VOTRONIC charging boosters ensure optimal and fast charging of the leisure battery from the alternator while driving. Unlike a simple battery isolator relay, the charging voltage is increased to the value required for the respective battery type to achieve a full charge, as specified by battery manufacturers. This allows the full charging current to flow and considerable amounts of power to be loaded into the battery in a short time. Long charging cables and losses, as well as voltage fluctuations at the alternator, are cleanly regulated.

The charging converters thus provide the known high quality of battery charging of VOTRONIC chargers even while driving. The intelligent microprocessor charging control with "IU1oU2" charging curves and dynamic charging time calculation automatically ensures fast and gentle full charging as well as subsequent charge maintenance of the connected batteries from any state of charge, and always allows for simultaneous supply to consumers parallel to the leisure battery.
