Charging booster, optimal charging even on short journeys
The VOTRONIC charging boosters ensure optimal and fast charging of the supply battery from the alternator while driving. In contrast to a simple battery isolator, the charging voltage is increased to the value required for the respective battery type for a full charge and demanded by the battery manufacturers. This allows the full charging current to flow and considerable amounts of current to be loaded into the battery in a short time. Long charging lines and losses, as well as voltage fluctuations at the alternator, are precisely regulated.

The charge converters thus provide the well-known high-quality battery charging of VOTRONIC chargers even while driving. The intelligent microprocessor charging control with "IU1oU2" charging characteristics and dynamic charging time calculation automatically ensures fast and gentle full charging as well as subsequent charge maintenance of the connected batteries from any state of charge and always allows simultaneous power supply to consumers in parallel with the supply battery.
