The VOTRONIC charging boosters ensure optimal and rapid charging of the supply battery from the alternator while driving. Unlike a simple cut-off relay, the charging voltage is increased to the value required for a full charge for the respective battery type and specified by the battery manufacturer. This allows the full charging current to flow, charging considerable amounts of current into the battery in a short time. Long charging lines and losses, as well as voltage fluctuations at the alternator, are smoothly compensated.

Designed for use with 13-pin trailer connectors for caravans and mobile homes

The device is primarily designed for use with the towing vehicle's 13-pin trailer connector for charging the caravan battery. It automatically regulates itself so that the load capacity of the connector and the vehicle's electrical system (12 V / max. 20 amps) is not exceeded. The device's performance is determined by this. The charging converter is installed in the caravan/living cabin and delivers the optimal charging voltage for the battery, regardless of fluctuations in the vehicle's on-board voltage or cable/connector voltage losses.
