Votronic Battery Charger VBCS 60/40/800 Triple HV CI - Mains, Alternator & Solar in one device

Mains operation, 12 V/12 V B2B charging converter (alternator/Euro 6 compatible) and MPPT solar charge controller in one compact device. In mains operation, it charges your leisure battery with up to 40 A, in B2B operation up to 60 A is possible, and via solar, it supports modules from 60 to 800 Wp.

Triple Charger: Mains, B2B and MPPT Solar – flexible for on the go

The VBCS is designed as a "triple" system for vehicles: You can charge from shore power (110–230 V / 45–65 Hz worldwide, full charging power), recharge via the alternator while driving, and additionally use solar. The mains detection including the AC power limit function is practical, allowing you to limit power consumption sensibly at weaker connections.

Suitable for many battery types – incl. LiFePO4

To ensure charging matches your battery, the battery type is adjustable: Gel, AGM, Acid or LiFePO4. Additionally, the device supports lead-acid temperature compensation or LiFePO4 protection. A temperature sensor 825 is already included in the scope of delivery.

Clean integration in the vehicle: CI-BUS, control and switching output

For modern motorhome setups, the charger is CI-BUS capable and offers you a control input to influence its functionality. In addition, there are practical interfaces such as the plug connection for Display LCD-Charge Control S and the plug connection VBS2. For more everyday comfort, a switching output for AES refrigerator is also integrated.

B2B charging (Euro 6) and starter battery in focus

In 12 V/12 V B2B charging converter operation, the VBCS delivers up to 60 A charging power for the leisure battery. The voltage range at starter battery/alternator is 10.5–16.5 V (Euro 6), the max. current is 82 A. For the starter battery, a charging power of 5 A is available (via charge current distributor); a starter battery with 12 V and >100 Ah is recommended.
