Designed for high-quality motorhomes, marine applications, special vehicles, and off-grid setups.

Votronic chargers are characterized by high operational safety and reliability, representing the latest state of the art. Their high-quality charging technology, robust power electronics combined with intelligent microprocessor control, ensure precise adherence to charging voltages, currents, and times, thus extending battery life. A variety of different versions of the devices are available, so you can find the right charger for your application.

All charging programs are applied by the charger for gentle full charging and subsequent trickle charging of the battery, with temperature compensation adapted to the battery type when a temperature sensor is used. The supply of connected consumers is also handled during charging, dimensioned so that no more than 50% flows to the consumers during the I-phase (initial charging).

When batteries are full, almost the entire possible device charging current is available for consumers, without the batteries being discharged.

Selectable charging programs / charging curves:

"LiFePO4": Charging program specifically for lithium batteries

Charging program optimized for lithium LiFePo4 batteries with their own BMS and prescribed or built-in protective circuitry. A special quiescent maintenance automatically keeps the LiFePO4 battery at a charge level of 50-80% which is beneficial for its lifespan when the vehicle is parked (seasonal operation), and also buffers 12V consumers as well as the vehicle's starter battery. In addition, a regular Auto Wake Up function activates battery cell balancing.

1. "Gel": Charging program for Gel batteries, characteristic IU1oU2oU3

Optimized for sealed, gas-tight Gel/dryfit batteries with fixed electrolyte, which generally require a higher charging voltage level and longer U1 holding times to achieve short charging times with particularly high capacity storage and to avoid long-term battery "starvation". Among other things, perfectly suited for our WATTSTUNDE Gel batteries.

2. "AGM": Charging program for AGM / Fleece batteries, characteristic IU1oU2oU3

Designed for charging sealed, gas-tight AGM (Absorbent-Glass-Mat) batteries and those with lead-fleece technology, which require a particularly high U1 level with coordinated holding times for full charging and then a moderate U2 level for trickle charging (round cell and plate technology).

4. "UNIVERSAL": Charging program for lead-acid / wet batteries, characteristic IU1oU2oU3

Universal program for charging and trickle charging of acid batteries in vehicles (mixed mobile/stationary). Offers short charging times, good charging factor and good acid mixing with open and closed, low-maintenance, maintenance-free standard, traction, lighting, solar and heavy-duty batteries as well as AGM batteries with normal U1 level, thanks to its medium U1 level.
