Designed for high-quality motorhomes, marine applications, special vehicles, and off-grid uses.

Votronic chargers are characterized by high operational reliability and readiness for use, representing the latest in technology. Their high-quality charging technology, robust power electronics in conjunction with intelligent microprocessor control, ensures precise adherence to charging voltages, currents, and times, thus extending battery life. A variety of different versions of the devices are available, making it possible to find the right charger for your application.

Votronic charging technology has been used for years in professional emergency vehicles such as fire trucks, ambulances, and coast guard vessels! Quality Made in Germany!

All charging programs are applied by the charger for gentle full charging and subsequent charge retention of the battery, with temperature compensation adapted to the battery type when a temperature sensor is used. The supply of connected consumers is also handled during charging, sized so that no more than 50% flows to consumers during the I-phase (initial charge).

When batteries are full, almost the entire possible device charging current is available for consumers without the batteries being discharged.

Selectable charging programs / charging characteristics:

"LiFePO4": Charging program specifically for lithium batteries

Charging program optimized for Lithium-LiFePo4 batteries with their own BMS and prescribed or built-in protection circuitry. A special rest-maintenance function automatically keeps the LiFePO4 battery at a charge level of 50-80% when the vehicle is parked (seasonal operation), which is beneficial for its lifespan, and also buffers 12 V consumers and the vehicle starter battery. Furthermore, a regular Auto Wake Up function activates battery cell balancing.

1. "Gel": Charging program for gel batteries, characteristic IU1oU2oU3

Optimized for sealed, gas-tight gel/dryfit batteries with fixed electrolyte, which generally require a higher charging voltage level and longer U1 hold times to achieve short charging times with particularly high capacity storage and to prevent long-term battery "starvation". Among other things, perfectly suited for our WATTSTUNDE gel batteries.

2. "AGM": Charging program for AGM / fleece batteries, characteristic IU1oU2oU3

Designed for charging sealed, gas-tight AGM (Absorbent-Glass-Mat) batteries and those with lead-fleece technology, which require a particularly high U1 level with coordinated hold times for full charging and then a moderate U2 level for charge retention (round cell and plate technology).

4. "UNIVERSAL": Charging program for lead-acid/wet batteries, characteristic IU1oU2oU3

Universal program for charging and charge retention of acid batteries in vehicles (mixed mobile/stationary). With a medium U1 level, it still offers short charging times, a good charging factor, and good acid mixing for open and closed, low-maintenance, maintenance-free standard, traction, lighting, solar, and heavy-duty batteries, as well as AGM batteries with normal U1 level.
