Especially in rescue and emergency vehicles, the reliability of the batteries installed in the vehicle is crucial for the vehicle's operational readiness. This is especially true when numerous continuous consumers place a heavy load on the batteries, frequent deployments mean there's insufficient time to recharge, or the charger is inadequately matched to the batteries. To meet the specific requirements of emergency vehicles, the VAC series was created in collaboration with vehicle and leading battery manufacturers.

The device's electronics are protected against moisture, ensuring safe operation even in extreme temperature fluctuations. Continuous loads connected to the vehicle's electrical system (radios, charging cradles, etc.) are also supplied without affecting the charging process. The built-in charging current distributor also automatically supplies the starter battery with full charging current when needed. The engine start lock can be activated via a signal output when the vehicle's electrical system is connected.
The devices are supplied with the 825 temperature sensor to ensure optimal battery charging. The installation position is variable, thanks to a second device label included in the delivery. Instead of a remote control, a waterproof LED indicator (see accessories) can be connected to the remote control socket to indicate the device's operational readiness on the outside of the vehicle.
