Ultra-fast MPPT Tracking
Especially in cloudy conditions, when light intensity is constantly changing, the ultra-fast MPPT algorithm improves energy yield by up to 30% compared to PWM charge controllers and by up to 10% compared to slower MPPT controllers.
Advanced Maximum Power Point detection in case of partial shading. In the event of partial shading, two or more maximum power points (MPP) may be present on the current-voltage curve. Conventional MPPTs tend to lock onto a local MPP. However, this may not be the optimal MPP. The innovative algorithm of the SmartSolar device will always maximize energy yield by locking onto the optimal MPP.

A Bluetooth-enabled smartphone can display a variety of data live. The wireless solution for setting up, monitoring, and updating the controller using Apple and Android smartphones, tablets, or other devices.
Unlike the BlueSolar controllers, the Bluetooth interface is already built in, so no additional accessories need to be purchased.

Intelligent Battery Management with the BatteryLife Algorithm
The BatteryLife algorithm monitors the state of charge of the battery and slightly increases the load disconnect threshold daily until the bulk voltage is reached. From this point on, the load disconnect threshold is modulated so that the bulk voltage is reached approximately once a week.
The BatteryLife algorithm will extend battery life compared to conventional battery algorithms that always cycle between "partially charged" and "fully charged" (due to low self-discharge)
