Victron battery charger Skylla-TG for 24V batteries

A full rated output and a 4 A auxiliary charging output are available. The charging voltage can be precisely adjusted to suit any battery system.
The input for the charger is 230 V at 50/60 Hz. The charging voltage can be measured directly at the battery terminals to compensate for the voltage loss due to cable resistance. An external sensor enables the battery temperature to be measured and the charging voltage to be compensated accordingly.

Pure power, compact format

Battery chargers of the TG generation are light and compact thanks to the use of high frequency technology. The charging voltage can be adapted to any open and sealed battery type. A stable charging voltage is particularly important for sealed, maintenance-free batteries. Overvoltage leads to excessive gas development and drying out

Controlled loading

Each TG charger has a microprocessor that precisely controls the charging process in three stages. The charging process follows the IUoUo characteristic curve and is faster than other charging processes.

Can be used as a power supply

Thanks to its perfectly stabilized output voltage, a TG charger can be used as a power supply when batteries or large buffer capacitors are missing.

Two outputs for charging two batteries

TG chargers have two outputs that are isolated from each other. The second output is designed for charging a starter battery. It has a slightly lower output voltage and is limited to 4 A.

Longer battery life through temperature compensation

A temperature sensor is included with every TG charger. The temperature sensor ensures that the charging voltage decreases as the battery temperature increases. This is particularly important for maintenance-free batteries, which can otherwise dry out due to overcharging.

Voltage Sense: Measuring the charging voltage at the battery or at the DC distributor

To compensate for voltage losses due to cable resistance, the TG chargers have a "Voltage Sense" function. This ensures that the battery always receives the correct charging voltage.
