The Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC Charger is a professional, DC to DC adaptive 3-stage charger with integrated Bluetooth.

For use in dual battery systems in vehicles or boats where the (smart) alternator and starter battery are used to charge the service battery. The unit can be monitored and programmed via Bluetooth and can be remotely controlled via a remote on/off switch. It has an engine running detection mechanism.

The Orion Tr-Smart charger can be used in 12V or 24V systems and is suitable for both lead and lithium batteries. Models up to 400W are available and an unlimited number of units can be connected in parallel to increase the output power.

Suitable for Bluetooth Smart
Monitoring, changing settings and updating the charger with new software features can be done with any Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, tablet or other
device.

Adaptive 3-stage charging algorithm: constant current – ​​constant voltage – maintenance
For lead batteries, it is important that the absorption time is kept short during shallow discharges to avoid overcharging the battery. After a deep discharge, the constant voltage time is automatically extended to ensure that the battery is fully charged.
For lithium batteries, the recording time is fixed, 2 hours by default. Alternatively, a fixed output voltage can be selected.

Remote on/off
A remote-controlled on/off switch or a relay contact can be connected to the two-pin plug.
Alternatively, the H (right) terminal of the two-pin plug can be connected to a positive battery terminal or the L (left) terminal of the two-pin plug can be connected to the negative battery terminal (or, for example, to the bodywork
of a vehicle).

All models are short-circuit proof and can be connected in parallel to increase the output current.
An unlimited number of devices can be connected in parallel.

Overtemperature protection
At high ambient temperatures the output current is reduced.

Protection class IP43
When the screw terminals on the device are installed facing downwards.
