The Multiplus 24/3000/70 from Victron is a device combination consisting of a 2400 W pure sine wave inverter and a 24 V battery charger. The smartly integrated battery charger provides an impressive 70A, allowing batteries to be charged extremely quickly when shore/grid power is available. The pure sine wave inverter integrated into the Multiplus transforms the 24V DC from the battery into 230V AC. Thanks to the true sine wave, the quality of the voltage is perfectly suited for sensitive electronic devices.Versatile Use
The MultiPlus is a powerful pure sine wave inverter, an advanced battery charger that utilizes adaptive charging technology, and a high-speed AC transfer switch, all in a single compact enclosure. Models are available for the range of 800 VA to 5000 VA per module.
Unique PowerAssist FunctionThe MultiPlus prevents overloading of a limited AC source. First, the battery charging process is automatically reduced to prevent overload. Next, the power of a generator or shore power supply is boosted with energy from the battery.
Uninterruptible AC Power (UPS Function)In the event of a grid failure or interruption of shore power or the onboard generator, the Multi's inverter automatically switches on and takes over the supply of connected loads. The switchover happens so quickly (in less than 20 milliseconds) that uninterrupted operation of computers and other electronic devices is ensured.
Virtually Unlimited Power Through Parallel ConnectionUp to six Multis can be connected in parallel for high power requirements. Three-phase and split-phase operation are also possible. Please refer to our data sheets to see which models are suitable for parallel, three-phase, and split-phase operation.
