Victron MultiPlus 12/3000/120-16 inverter 2400 W and charger 120A

Innovative combination device from Victron: sine wave inverter and 12 V battery charger in one!

The Multiplus 12/3000/120 from Victron is a device combination of a 2400 W sine wave inverter and a 12 V battery charger. The smart integrated battery charger delivers an impressive 120A so that the batteries can be charged extremely quickly when shore/mains power is available. The sine wave voltage converter integrated in the Multiplus transforms the 12V direct current from the battery into a 230 V alternating current. Thanks to the real sine wave, the quality of the voltage is also perfect for sensitive electronic devices.

Versatile use
The MultiPlus is a powerful pure sine wave inverter, an advanced battery charger using adaptive charging technology, and a high speed AC transfer switch in a single compact package. Models range from 800VA to 5000VA per module.

Two DC outputs for charging two batteries
The main DC connection can supply the entire output current. The second output - e.g. for charging the starter battery - is set to 4 A and a slightly lower output voltage.

Unique PowerAssist feature
The MultiPlus prevents overloading a limited AC source. First, it automatically reduces the battery charge to protect against overload. Next, it boosts the output of a generator or shore power supply with energy from the battery.

Uninterruptible alternating current (UPS function)
In the event of a grid fault or an interruption of the shore power or on-board generator, the Multi's inverter is automatically switched on and takes over the supply of power to the connected consumers. The switchover takes place so quickly (in less than 20 milliseconds) that uninterrupted operation of computers and other electronic devices is guaranteed.

Virtually unlimited power through parallel connection
Up to six Multis can be connected in parallel if high power requirements are required. Three-phase or split-phase operation is also possible. Please refer to our data sheets to find out which models are suitable for parallel operation, three-phase and split-phase operation.

On-site monitoring and control
Several options are available: Battery Monitor, Multi Control Panel, Ve.Net Blue Power Panel, Color Control Panel, Smartphone or Tablet (Bluetooth Smart), Laptop or Computer (USB or RS232).

Remote monitoring and control
If systems with a Color Control Panel are connected to the Ethernet, they can be accessed and settings can be changed remotely.

Remote configuration:
Victron Ethernet Remote, Venus GX and the Color Control Panel. The data can be saved and viewed free of charge on the VRM (Victron Remote Management) website.
