Innovative combination device from Victron: Sine wave inverter and 12 V battery charger in one!

The Multiplus 12/3000/120 from Victron is a combination device consisting of a 2400 W sine wave inverter and a 12 V battery charger. The smartly integrated battery charger provides an impressive 120A, allowing batteries to be charged extremely quickly when shore/grid power is available. The sine wave voltage converter integrated into the Multiplus transforms the 12V DC from the battery into 230 V AC. Thanks to the true sine wave, the quality of the voltage is perfectly suited for sensitive electronic devices.

Versatile Use
The MultiPlus is a powerful pure sine wave inverter, an advanced battery charger that utilizes adaptive charging technology, and a high-speed AC transfer switch, all in a single compact enclosure. Models are available in the range of 800 VA to 5000 VA per module.

Two DC outputs for charging two batteries
The main DC output can supply the entire output current. The second output – for example, for charging a starter battery – is set to 4 A and a slightly lower output voltage.

Unique PowerAssist Function
The MultiPlus prevents overloading of a limited AC source. First, it automatically reduces battery charging to prevent overload. Next, it boosts the power of a generator or shore power supply with energy from the battery.

Uninterruptible AC Power (UPS function)
In the event of a grid failure or interruption of shore power or the onboard generator, the Multi's inverter automatically switches on and takes over the supply of connected consumers. The switchover happens so quickly (in less than 20 milliseconds) that uninterrupted operation of computers and other electronic devices is ensured.

Virtually Unlimited Power Through Parallel Connection
Up to six Multis can be connected in parallel for high power requirements. Three-phase or split-phase operation is also possible. Please refer to our datasheets for models suitable for parallel operation, three-phase, and split-phase operation.

Local Monitoring and Control
Several options are available: battery monitor, Multi Control Panel, Ve.Net Blue Power Panel, Color Control Panel, smartphone or tablet (Bluetooth Smart), laptop or computer (USB or RS232).

Remote Monitoring and Control
If systems with a Color Control Panel are connected to the Ethernet, they can be accessed and settings can be changed remotely.

Remote Configuration:
Victron Ethernet Remote, Venus GX and the Color Control Panel. Data can be stored and viewed free of charge on the VRM (Victron Remote Management) website.
