Intelligent Monitoring thanks to Integrated Shunt
A special feature of the Victron NG series is the integrated shunt, which accurately records important battery data. This includes, among other things:
- Battery voltage
- Charge and discharge current
- Battery temperature
This data is transmitted directly to the Battery Management System (BMS). This allows the exact state of charge of the battery to be calculated and warnings or alarms to be triggered early. For you, this means maximum transparency and significantly safer operation of your energy storage.
Full Control via the VictronConnect App
Via the integrated Bluetooth interface, you can easily connect the battery to your smartphone or tablet. In the VictronConnect app, you get access to extensive system data, including:
- Cell voltages
- Cell status
- Currents and temperatures
- Battery alarms and warnings
Alternatively, the battery can also be integrated into a comprehensive energy management system via a Victron GX communication center.
Flexible Expansion for Large Energy Storage Systems
The Victron NG batteries are particularly flexible in use. You can connect them in series, parallel, or in series/parallel configuration to build battery systems of various sizes.

The Lynx Smart BMS NG in particular enables full system integration, automatic system detection, and firmware updates for the battery.
