The VE.Bus Smart Dongle combines two products:

First of all, it is the Bluetooth accessory for Victron inverter/charger Multis, MultiPluss, MultiPlus-II, MultiGrid, MultiGrid-II, Quattros and the Phoenix range of inverters with a VE.Bus port.

Once installed, you can use the VictronConnect app to monitor operation and also operate the system: changing the input current limit and switching between on, off and charger only mode.

It can also serve as a voltage and temperature sensor for the inverter/charger. This works with all models and is particularly advantageous in combination with the MultiPlus-II, as this device does not have built-in connections for voltage and temperature sensors.

The device is a good alternative for monitoring in mobile homes, smaller yachts and caravans where the Color Control GX or Venus GX would be too bulky.
