Victron Energy VE.Bus Smart Dongle

 

 

The VE.Bus Smart Dongle combines two products:

First, it is the Bluetooth accessory for Victron inverter/chargers. Multis, MultiPluses, MultiPlus-II, MultiGrid, MultiGrid-II, Quattros, and the Phoenix inverter model range with a VE.Bus port.

Once installed, the VictronConnect App allows you to monitor its operation and also control the system: change the input current limit and switch between On, Off, and Charger-only modes.

It can also serve as a voltage and temperature sensor for the inverter/charger. This works with all models and is particularly advantageous in combination with the MultiPlus-II, as this device does not have built-in connections for voltage and temperature sensors.

For monitoring, the device is a good alternative in motorhomes, smaller yachts, and caravans where the Color Control GX or Venus GX would be too extensive.
