Digital Multi Control 200/200A GX
The Digital Multi Control is used to remotely display and adjust AC input currents and to turn the Multi or Quattro on and off. It is designed to integrate seamlessly into the control panel of your boat, vehicle or home system.
The Digital Multi Control Panel (DMC) is designed to work with all Multi/Quattro devices. This includes single, parallel and 2-3 phase configurations. Connecting the DMC to your system is easy, in most cases just connecting the DMC with an RJ45 cable is enough and no additional commissioning is required.
The DMC is a remote control panel designed for use with all Multis/Quattros and Multi/Quattro systems. This includes single units, parallel operation and multi-phase operation. It supports both VE.Bus and non-VE.Bus systems. DMC allows shore and generator power to be set separately. When used in an extended VE.Bus system, up to four different shore power sources can be set. In the VE.Bus system, DMC will automatically select the setting ranges to suit the connected system.
The DMC can be used to change AC limits when the power source is externally connected from the shore power connection to the generator. In normal operation, the shore power limits (according to the setting on the rotary knob) are passed on to the connected devices. However, if the screw terminals on the back of the DMC are bridged (short-circuited), the DMC will pass the preset shore power limit to the devices. This preset limit generally refers to a generator connection. The display on the DMC will therefore then show . The two connections of the screw terminal must be connected to an externally operated switch. This will usually be an auxiliary relay of an external transfer switch.
