How the Cytrix-Li-Load works

The Cyrix battery coupler protects the battery from being discharged too deeply by consumers.
The Cyrix Li-Load switches off when its control input reaches the "free floating" state. When the battery voltage recovers after switching off (this happens when no other loads are connected to the battery), the BMS output goes high and the Cyrix switches back on after 30 seconds. After 3 switch-on attempts, the Cyrix remains switched off until the voltage has risen above 13 V (or 26 V or 52 V) for at least 30 seconds (this is an indication that the battery is being recharged). Alternatively, a battery protector can be used (advantage: very low power consumption).
