A charge controller is the heart of every solar system, connecting the solar panel to the battery. The solar controller uses powerful technology to convert the fluctuating voltage throughout the day into a voltage that is adapted to the loads or optimized for ideal and gentle battery charging.
Ultra-fast MPPT tracking
Especially in overcast conditions, when light intensity constantly changes, the super-fast MPPT algorithm improves energy yield by up to 30% compared to PWM charge controllers and up to 10% compared to slower MPPT controllers. Advanced Maximum Power Point detection in case of partial shading. In the event of partial shading, there may be two or more maximum power points (MPP) on the current-voltage curve. Conventional MPPTs tend to lock onto a local MPP, but this may not be the optimal MPP. The innovative algorithm of the BlueSolar device will always maximize energy yield by locking onto the optimal MPP.

Intelligent battery management with the BatteryLife algorithm
The BatteryLife algorithm monitors the battery's state of charge and slightly increases the load disconnect threshold daily until the constant voltage is reached. From this point, the load disconnect threshold is modulated so that the constant voltage is reached approximately once a week. The BatteryLife algorithm will extend the battery's operational life compared to conventional battery algorithms that always cycle between "partially charged" and "fully charged" (due to low self-discharge).
Internal temperature sensor
An internal temperature measuring unit is, of course, built-in, so that constant and float charging voltages are temperature compensated. The full output current can thus be guaranteed up to 40°C.
Automatic battery voltage detection
The MPPT 100 / 30 automatically adapts to a 12 V or 24 V system.
Three-stage charging: Instead of simply charging constantly up to the charging voltage, an innovative multi-stage system is used (constant current, constant voltage, and float phase).
