Water, oil, or dirt cannot damage the Blue Smart IP67 Charger. The casing is made of cast aluminum and the electronics are encased in resin.

High Efficiency
With an efficiency of up to 94%, these chargers generate up to four times less heat compared to the industry standard. Furthermore, once the battery is fully charged, power consumption drops to less than 0.5 watts, which is about five to ten times better than the industry standard.

Adaptive 6-step charging algorithm: Test - Bulk - Absorption - Recondition - Float - Storage
The Blue Smart charger is characterized by its microprocessor-controlled, "adaptive" battery management. "Adaptive" means that the charging process automatically adjusts to the type of battery use.

Storage Mode:
Less maintenance and aging during battery inactivity:
Storage mode is activated whenever no discharge has occurred within 24 hours. The float voltage is then reduced to 2.2V/cell (26.4V for a 24V battery) to minimize gassing and thus prevent corrosion of the positive plates. Once a week, the voltage is increased to the gassing voltage level. This creates a type of equalization charge that prevents electrolyte stratification and sulfation – the two main reasons for premature battery failure.

Also charges Lithium-ion (LiFePO4) batteries
LiFePO4 batteries are charged using a simple constant current – constant voltage – float voltage algorithm.

NIGHT and LOW settings
If the device is in NIGHT or LOW mode, the output current is reduced to a maximum of 25% of the nominal output and the charger operates completely silently. NIGHT mode ends automatically after 8 hours. LOW mode can be ended manually.

Overheating protection The output current is reduced if the temperature rises to up to 50°C, but the Blue Smart charger will not fail.
