High performance level

The Blue Smart charger is characterized by its microprocessor-controlled, “adaptive” battery management. “Adaptive” means that the charging process is automatically adapted to the type of battery usage.

Storage mode:
Less maintenance and aging when the battery is idle:
The storage mode is activated whenever no discharge has taken place within 24 hours. The float voltage is then reduced to 2.2V/cell (13.2V for a 12V battery) to minimize gas evolution and thus to prevent corrosion on the positive plates. Once a week the voltage is increased to the level of the gassing voltage. This creates a kind of equalizing charge that prevents electrolyte stratification and sulfation - the two main causes of premature Battery failure - prevented.

Also charges lithium-ion (LiFePO4) batteries
LiFePO4 batteries are charged with a simple constant current phase – constant voltage phase – float voltage phase Algorithm loaded.

The settings NIGHT and LOW
