With an efficiency of up to 94%, these chargers generate up to four times less heat than the industry standard. Additionally, after the battery is fully charged, power consumption drops to less than 0.5 watts, which is about five to ten times better than the industry standard.
Adaptive 6-stage charging algorithm:
Test- Bulk - Absorption - Recondition - Float - Storgage The Blue Power charger is characterized by its microprocessor-controlled, "adaptive" battery management. "Adaptive" means that the charging process is automatically adapted to the type of battery use.
Storage mode:
Less maintenance and aging when the battery is idle: Storage mode is activated whenever there has been no discharge for 24 hours. The float charge voltage is then reduced to 2.2 V/cell (13.2 V for a 12 V battery) to minimize gassing and thus prevent corrosion of the positive plates. Once a week, the voltage is increased to the level of the gassing voltage. This creates a kind of equalization charge that prevents electrolyte stratification and sulfation - the two main causes of premature battery failure.

LiFePO4 batteries are charged using a simple constant current phase – constant voltage phase – float voltage phase algorithm
The settings NIGHT and LOW
If the device is in NIGHT or LOW mode, the output current is reduced to a maximum of 25% of the nominal output and the charger operates completely silently. NIGHT mode ends automatically after 8 hours. LOW mode can be ended manually. Overheating protection The output current is reduced if the temperature rises up to 50°C, but the Blue Power charger does not fail.
