The new voltage converter from the TwinPeak series is a compact combination device that combines a variety of functions in one device:
- Pure sine wave inverter for solar island systems
- battery charger
- Solar charge controller
- Shore power connection
The TwinPeak is the ideal solution for creating a fully functional solar island system: By connecting PV modules (maximum 1500 Wp), the connected battery can be charged anytime and anywhere.
In addition to the reliable operation of 24 V direct current consumers, the powerful combination device also allows you to connect 230 V alternating current consumers. A pure sine wave voltage is generated to supply your devices at home.
The device is rounded off by the shore power connection: this can be used to feed energy into your self-sufficient system from an external source such as a mains connection. Don't make any compromises, the microprocessor-controlled device is as easy to use as it is reliable.
Regardless of whether you want to operate your boat or caravan independently, a variety of applications are possible. The TwinPeak is particularly suitable for small solar island systems in remote cabins or small garden houses that are to be operated independently of the grid.
The TwinPeak device is characterized by the following :

MPPT charge controller: maximum power output guaranteed
With the help of the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) technology, you can charge your battery even faster and use the solar system as best as possible. Several times per second, the intelligent controller algorithm determines the point of maximum power output, which constantly fluctuates due to external conditions such as temperature and solar radiation. Compared to the simpler series controllers, a 10%-30% higher charging current can be generated. The integrated charging characteristic uses a four-stage IUoUo charging characteristic to ensure that the batteries are charged with an optimal voltage and a suitable current at all times. The parameters of the charging characteristic can be flexibly adjusted so that it is possible to charge lithium-ion batteries as well as lead batteries.
Reliable battery charger
Charge your batteries gently and reliably using the integrated battery charger.
An external 230 V AC system can be used as an energy source. The integrated automatic charging system always charges with optimal current and voltage values depending on the charge level of the batteries, ensured by a reliable charging characteristic.
The charging current of 30 A ensures that the batteries are fully charged again quickly. Particularly noteworthy is the ability to charge the new lithium-ion batteries as well as lead batteries. With the TwinPeak you are therefore well prepared for the future.
Pure sine wave voltage for high demands
The TwinPeak converts the 24 V direct current (DC) of the battery into a clean, quartz-precise sine wave voltage of 230 V and 50 Hz. This means that consumers can be operated from home while on the move. With an output power of 3.0 kW, many powerful consumers such as espresso machines, chargers, household appliances such as mixers or hand blenders, refrigerators or computers can be conveniently operated. Inductive loads such as stereo systems or televisions can also be connected reliably. A peak current that is twice the nominal current can be drawn for a short time (1 s). This means that the high starting current of some devices is not a problem. The integrated protection against deep discharge monitors the charge level of the battery and automatically switches off the consumers when the battery capacity is running low and further energy withdrawal would damage the battery.
External 230 V connection
If the energy from the solar system is not sufficient, the batteries can alternatively be charged via the external connection. Simply feed shore power into your battery. Intelligent microprocessor electronics ensure that the batteries are always operated optimally. Overcharging is impossible, the batteries are constantly monitored.
The integrated transfer switch (switching time 10 ms) enables uninterrupted operation of the consumers. The input voltage and frequency range can be selected flexibly, making worldwide operation possible.
Variety of setting options
The combination device has a backlit LCD display. Status information of the solar island system, such as the current voltage of the batteries, the connected load, PV current and voltage, and much more, can be displayed here at any time. Of course, it is also possible to read the charge level of the battery or to receive a precise error message in the (unlikely) event of an error.
The almost unlimited setting options are also practical:
Almost all electrical parameters can be freely adjusted: A charging current limit or the voltages in the various charging phases can be set if required.
Comfortable all-rounder
The device has a temperature and load-controlled ventilation system, so that the device produces little noise.
The overtemperature, overload and short-circuit protection ensure that the device can be operated safely even in the event of a malfunction.
By combining many functions in one device, annoying cable clutter is eliminated and installation effort is minimized.
UPS operation for uninterruptible power supply (UPS) is also possible.
The built-in potential-free contact enables automatic starting of a generator or can act as an alarm contact when the battery charge level is low.
