The Original! Now with ECO-EPDM rubberFORSHEDA shock absorbers are made from ECO-EPDM rubber, a material with excellent resistance properties against sunlight, saltwater and ozone. ECO-EPDM rubber does not bleach. The line is simply threaded through the patented nylon clamps at each end; no further knots are necessary. New material composition for improved properties and over 60% made from environmentally friendly materials. The stretch length of the FORSHEDA rubber shock absorbers can be adjusted to local conditions: • 1 turn: of the line around the shock absorber in calm waters without surges or waves. Little freedom of movement for the boat, low damping • 2 turns: of the line around the shock absorber in light surges and tidal waters. • 3 turns: of the line around the shock absorber in open and unprotected berths.
